Carroll “Squeakie” Mitchell II 81, a resident of Baker City, Oregon died Monday, May 29, 2023, at a care facility in Fruitland, Idaho.  Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 6:00 PM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Baker City.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the Cathedral, with Father Suresh Telagani celebrating the Mass.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Those wishing to make memorial contributions in Squeakie’s memory may direct them to The Knights of Columbus or St. Judes Children's Hospital, this may be done through Coles Tribute Center 1950 Place St. Baker City, OR 97814.
